Privacy Policy for Now On Vision

This page explains how Now On Vision uses CloudKit profiles, daily Vision Pro activity, leaderboards, widgets, optional avatars, and deletion data.

Policy

Overview

Now On Vision uses iCloud and CloudKit to create a profile, record daily Vision Pro app activity, show streaks, power leaderboards, and refresh widgets.

Data Collected

Now On Vision may collect and store limited app data needed to operate the profile, daily validation, leaderboards, country stats, and widgets:

  • Account and profile data, such as the CloudKit account record identifier, generated profile ID, username, country, and optional avatar image.
  • Daily activity data, such as validated Vision Pro app days, yearly activity days, lifetime days, current streak, longest streak, and the last recorded day used to prevent duplicate daily entries.
  • Leaderboard and community data, such as rank, summary stats, country rankings, and country-level activity stats.
  • Widget data, limited to the cached profile, activity, rank, and community summary data needed to display Now On Vision widgets.

Now On Vision does not collect precise location, contacts, health data, payment data, advertising identifiers, or data for third-party analytics or advertising.

Public Community Data

Now On Vision is a community leaderboard app. Profile and activity data used for leaderboards may be visible to other users, including username, country, avatar, total days, streaks, ranks, and country-level stats.

Camera

Camera access is optional and only used when the user chooses to capture an avatar. The captured image is processed locally before being saved as avatar data.

Apple Services

The app uses Apple services including iCloud, CloudKit, WidgetKit, MapKit imagery, and geocoding. The current app has no third-party analytics, no advertising SDK, and no external web API dependency.

How Data Is Used

Data is used to operate the user profile, record daily activity, calculate streaks, update leaderboards, display world and country stats, refresh widgets, and support account deletion.

Account Deletion

Users can delete their account in the app. Deleting the account removes the Now On Vision profile, username reservation, and activity records from CloudKit, and clears local widget state. It does not delete the user's Apple Account or iCloud account.
